Konami Digital Entertainment will release a special product this summer for the Yu-Oh-Oh! TCG tied to the 2017 feature film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions. The Dark Side of Dimensions: Movie Pack will release on July 22.

Since the feature film picks up where the last season of the original animated series left off, original Duelists Yugi and Kaiba will be front and center with their Shining Victories and The Dark Illusion-era decks. The 57-card, all-Ultra Rares set contains 53 brand new cards and 4 old favorites with new artwork. Each pack will contain 5 cards in this flat rarity system release.

For Shining Victories decks there will be cards like the “Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon” Fusion Monster, which can attack up to three times on a turn with its 4500 attack points. For Dark Magician Deck Dualists there are new spells and traps to access the Dark Spellcasters, as well as a new type of Magician Girl monsters: “Berry Magician Girl,” Apple Magician Girl,” and “Kiwi Magician Girl” which have powers to get Spellcasters into play and re-direct enemy attacks. There is also a new villain into the movie, Aigami, whose dimension dueling “Cubic” monsters are well represented in this release. “Cubic” monsters are good at shutting down opponent’s monster effects, stopping them from attacking. Their effects build over time, gaining the player more cards to work with every round to build up to a massive Fusion Monster, who can slash their opponent’s Life Points in half in a single attack.
