The 1970’s has been called the “Golden Age” of card collecting and was the perfect time for Topps editors to do what they do best…create new and distinctive baseball card products.
The 1975 Topps Mini set was one of those innovative ideas. Released on a test basis into select markets, savvy card dealers kept busy hand-sorting sets in order to fulfill a gushing collector demand. According to Topps Industry Specialist Mike Jaspersen “The 1975 Topps Mini set endures as one of the most popular and collectible Topps “Test” sets” of all time.”
Topps is proud to announce that it’s bringing back the novel idea once again in a very limited way for 2012. Available exclusively through ShopTopps.com, the 2012 Baseball Mini cards will launch on August 1, 2012 and priced at $50 per box. The base set consists of 661 cards from Series 1 and 2.
