Dear Valued Hobby Distributors,

The Topps Company is pleased to announce TWO Hobby Store Promotions coming in May 2013! Topps Archives Baseball and Topps Star Wars Jedi Legacy are both sponsoring promotions this Spring to help your stores drive foot traffic and generate sales.

Please read below for details on each of the promotions and our sign up process. This promotion is open to all Direct and NonDirect Topps Authorized Hobby Stores that are in the Topps Hobby Store Database as of Friday, March, 8, 2013. Please note: These promotions are NOT part of the new HTA Renovation that takes effect in July 2013. Therefore, ALL current Topps Authorized Hobby Stores, Direct and Non-Direct, are eligible to participate in these promotion.

On Monday, March 11th, all Direct and NonDirect Hobby Stores that are in our database received an email announcing this promotion with instructions on how to sign up. Stores will have until 3/22/13 to sign up. During this time, we encourage you to reach out to stores that you service and advise them of the upcoming promotion and to check their emails for sign up instructions. If you find any store that you currently service has not received the sign up email (please have them check first…) please contact us at htainfo@topps.com or 212-376-0463 and we will resend the store their sign up instructions.


After the sign up window closes and we have a validated list of participating stores, Distributors will have an opportunity to review a list of their respective stores that have signed up with Topps. At that time, Distributors may submit any remaining Non Direct Stores that may have been inadvertently missed. Distributor submission window will be March 25th-29, 2013. To request a copy of your respective stores after the store opt-in window closes, please send an email on or after March 22, 2013 to htainfo@topps.com. (There may be some overlap as the store owners have until end of day March 22, 2013 to sign up themselves).



All stores in our current database (with valid email addresses) were sent an invitation to participate in this promotion, so we expect to reach nearly all Hobby Stores. However as emails and addresses change, we realize some stores may be inadvertently missed. Therefore, we encourage you to review the list of your respective stores once the opt-in window closes to ensure that every valued Topps Authorized Hobby Store has a chance to participate in these promotion. Please read below for details on the promotions.

PROMOTION 1:

TOPPS CELEBRATES THE KID IN ALL OF US WITH

ARCHIVES BASEBALL “STAY YOUNG” PROMOTION

Remember when a pack of cards costs $.25 cents? Remember how fun it was going to the hobby shop, ripping packs and looking for your favorite players as a kid? Taking you back to these childhood experiences is what Topps Archives is all about.

To commemorate the launch of 2013 Topps Archives, Topps will be offering Hobby stores a special promotion that will help drive sales in your store while providing an awesome, nostalgic experience that your customers will enjoy, just in time for Father’s Day!

Here are the details of the promotion:

· Week 1 – Buy a pack for $.25: May 29th – June 6th: Collectors can relive their youth and buy special 5 card packs for $0.25! These cards will feature a unique Parallel. These cards will be available only during the dates provided.

· Week 2 – Redeem 1980’s Cards: June 6th – June 13th: Get Dad some new cards for ol’ times’ sake. Customers can bring in any of “Dad’s” old cards from the 80s and to the store to redeem it for a unique cello pack of 2012 Baseball Series 2. These packs will only be available during the dates provided and make great Father’s Day Gifts!!

· Vintage Card Redemption: May 29th – While Supplies Last: Program: Special redemption cards will be inserted into Hobby boxes of Topps Archives. Customers can redeem these cards for a free card from the Topps Vault! The vintage card will be from the 1950s-1980s and it will be foil wrapped. Collectors will enjoy ripping the packs to see who from past they will get!

Participating store will receive the following materials

· By May 2nd, Stores will receive a Archives “Stay Young” promotional kit complete with a Poster, Window Cling, and Post Cards

· By May 29th Stores will receive the following to redeem for consumers: $0.25 card packs, 2012 Series 2 card packs and Vintage cards from the Topps Vault.

PROMOTION 2:

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU!

Topps celebrates Star Wars with exclusive promo cards!

To support the launch of Topps Star Wars Jedi Legacy, Topps will be providing Hobby Stores with a promotional kit to excite fans, create awareness, and drive sales. These promotional kits will coincide with the annual May the 4th Star Wars Celebration and will include exclusive promo cards.

Here are the details of the promotion

· On Saturday, May the 4th, consumers will bring preprinted flyers to your stores to redeem for one exclusive Luke Skywalker circle promotional card. These cards are only available through this promotion in our Jedi Legacy Promotional Kit!

Participating stores will receive the following materials:

· By May 2nd, Stores will receive “May the 4th be with you” EXCLUSIVE circle promo card to redeem for consumers ONLY on Saturday, May 4, 2013

· POS Materials to support Star Wars Jedi Legacy Upcoming Release on 5/22/13

o Poster

o Jedi Legacy window cling

o “The Circle is now Complete” sweepstakes informational postcard
