Third Feature Film in Franchise History

4K Media has announced that work on a third feature length Yu-Gi-Oh! animated film has begun in Japan and the production company is now searching for a distributor for territories outside of Asia. The first full length Yu-Gi-Oh! film, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie Pyramid of Light, debuted in the U.S. in 2004, while a second film, Yu-Gi-Oh!: Bonds Beyond Time, was released here in 2011.

Yu-Gi-Oh!, which began as a manga series created by Kazuki Takahashi in 1996, has become an international multi-media bonanza spinning off five major anime series as well as the three feature films, video games, and a very popular trading card game.

The various Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, which are the prime sales drivers of YGO merchandise have been airing continuously in the U.S. for 14 years. A fifth major YGO anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V began airing in Japan in April, 2014 following Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II.
