San Diego is buzzing as super hero-clad patrons surround the San Diego Convention Center for the start of Comic-Con today. And Upper Deck has a variety of compelling programs taking place at the corporate booth (#5617) that are sure to “wow” comic fans in attendance!



First up, attendees can look to demo Upper Deck’s new Marvel Super Hero Squad trading card game (TCG) for free with staff on site. After the demo, they can earn a free Upper Deck super hero cape with the purchase of any Super Hero Squad starter kit. Also available for purchase are six Comic-Con exclusive collectible coins for the Marvel Super Hero Squad TCG. Collectible coins of Avengers like Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America are available for $9.99 per coin. If a Super Hero Squad fan purchases all six, they will receive a special Loki promotional coin as a gift. The Loki coins are not available for sale and can only be obtained by acquiring the other six coins at the Upper Deck booth.



Upper Deck will also be bringing in a series of artists who work on Upper Deck’s Marvel line of products to sign FREE autographs for fans. Comic-Con attendees can get an authentic signed artwork piece from Babisu Kourtis, Brian “Kaiser” Tillman, Sanford Greene, Elvin Hernandez, Cruddie Torian and Achilles Kokkinakis. Fans just need to stop by the Upper Deck Booth to check times and then make sure they don’t arrive late as there will certainly be quite a line for this opportunity.



Upper Deck will also be raffling off two highly sought after Thor playmates for the Marvel Super Hero Squad TCG during the show. Stop by the Upper Deck booth for more details on how you can win!
