NETFLIX REVEALS UMBRELLA ACADEMY SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE!

Netflix has announced that The Umbrella Academy Season 2 is set to return on July 31!
That’s right, your favorite dysfunctional family of superheroes are headed back to Netflix for a brand new series!
The unforgettable first season of The Umbrella Academy was ranked as one of Netflix’s most popular series releases of 2019 with over 45 million views.
It was one of only three series to hit Netflix’s Top 10 list of its most popular 2019 releases.
With worldwide fanfare and massive critical acclaim, audiences have anxiously been waiting for the news of the release date for Season 2. That day has finally arrived!
Based on the Dark Horse Comics series created and written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite won the 2008 Eisner Award for Best Limited Series. The next installment of The Umbrella Academy, entitled Dallas, was released in 2008, followed by Hotel Oblivion in 2018. The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will star Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min reprising their roles of the titular group of unlikely heroes. Ritu Arya, Marin Ireland, and Yusuf Gatewood have joined the 10-episode sophomore season. Steve Blackman returns as show runner and will also serve as executive producer alongside Jeff F. King, Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg. Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá are co-executive producers.The Umbrella Academy is produced by UCP (Universal Content Productions) for Netflix.
